Gauteng: At 20H29 Saturday night Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on Robert Broom Drive in Noordheuwel Krugersdorp.
Reports from the scene indicate that two cars were involved in a collision.
Medics assessed the scene and found that two patients had sustained serious injuries and another patient had sustained critical injuries.
The critically injured patient, an adult male was treated on scene by Advanced Life support paramedics who managed to stabilize the patient.
Due to the nature of his injuries, the Netcare 1 Specialised Helicopter ambulance was activated to airlift the man to a specialist facility.
The two other patients were treated on the scene and once stabilized were transported by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.
