Two injured in Umhlanga crash

KwaZulu-Natal: At 16H36 Monday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on Umhlanga Rocks Drive opposite Somerset Park.

Reports from the scene indicate that two light motor vehicles were involved in a collision.

Medics assessed the scene and found that the driver of the first car an adult female sustained moderate injuries.

The driver of the second car, an adult male had also sustained moderate injuries.

Both patients were treated on scene before being transported by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.

In Other News – School nutrition programme to continue, children can get meals from their nearest schools

The Department of Basic Education says children benefiting from the school nutrition programme can collect their meals from their nearest school, while schools are closed for four weeks.
