Twelve injured in La Mercy crash

KwaZulu-Natal: At 07H08 Wednesday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the M4 South Bound just before the Mdloti River Bridge in La Mercy North of Durban.

Reports from the scene indicate that a light delivery vehicle and a light motor vehicle were involved in a collision.

Eleven of the patients that were attended to were ejected from the LDV in the crash.

A total of twelve people sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate and were treated on the scene.

Once stabilised the patients were transported by various ambulance services to hospital for further treatment.
