Trucks – Diesel Mechanic needed urgently: APPLY NOW
Our Commercial Trucking Client is currently looking for a Diesel Technician/ Mechanic based in Pinetown
Only South Africans will be considered
Must be Red Seal Trade Tested.
· Be able to work alone
· sober-minded and be able to adhere to all safety requirements
· To carry out services according to work schedule on job cards
· To have a sound knowledge of mechanic i.e. Engines, gearboxes, diffs, drive train
· To have some knowledge of airbrakes, hydraulics, electricals
· Be able to diagnose faults and solves problems without changing
· Have some kind of engineering skills i.e. welding, bearing drilling and have the ability to use power tools
· Be able to do standby and respond within a reasonable time
· Be a team player
· Be able to take instructions
· Be able to do work out of job description i.e. driving, painting
Requirements:
· Matric completed
· Trade Tested
· 3-5 Years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanic – Tucks
· Fluent in Afrikaans and English
· Must have driver’s license and own transport
Hours: Monday – Friday 08:00 -17:00
On-standby every 3rd week
Salary: R20 000 – R25 000 per Month
