The much-awaited meeting between Transport Minister, Fikile Mbalula and the taxi industry has been postponed yet again.
This is the third time the meeting has been postponed since Friday. It was expected to iron out the taxi relief deadlock.
Taxi associations have rejected government’s proposed R1-billion cash injection.
They say it’s simply not enough, and have vowed to increase taxi fares to recoup money lost due to the lockdown.
