Whenever we watch a drama series, there is always that one character we all love to hate for all the right reasons which suit perfectly well with Zinhle Mabena who portrays a hated TV role while her real character is loved by many.
The reserved and somewhat quiet actress who plays the role of the infamous and ferocious Sihle on Mzansi Magic’s Isibaya is hated by millions onscreen while in real life she is soft-spoken and lovable. The actress rose to fame after her role as Busi Thwala in SABC’s drama series Mtunzini.com between 2006 and 2009 which saw her join the list of a few actresses to break into the industry with a big or leading role.
Since then, she has continued to be a household name bagging more television roles on other films including Intersexions, Remix, Ekasi: Our Stories.
The nation can expect more of Zinhle on their television screens as she will be making more appearances at entertainment and red carpet events as the star says she is ready to capitalise on her gift to act and beyond.
It’s also important to note that the beautiful actress is married to businessman Robert Ngwenya and together they have a baby girl who Zinhle has successfully kept a secret from social media.
To add to her growing portfolio, Zinhle has also been involved in children awareness projects in the country as she believes more needs to be done to safeguard children’s rights in South Africa. She has been vocal about how more public figures need to be engaged in social issues for the right cause and it can be done.
Though the actress tries very hard to protect her private life from the media just like any ordinary being would, Zinhle’s lavish lifestyle is nowhere near ordinary with a recent getaway with hubby to Mauritius and several other destinations including Bali and Dubai.
