Tiwa Savage cancels Joburg DSTV gig protesting Attacks on Nigerians. The protests and Xenophobic attacks are affecting more than we know. The attacks and looting have more economic impacts that we realise. Now the effects have spread to sports and entertainment. Zambia cancelled the friendly against Bafana Bafana and Nigerians looted and burnt Shoprite in Nigeria.

Babes Wodumo had her own words for foreigners and got a response from Burna Boy. Tiwa Savage is the latest of the Nigerian Celebs who are protesting against the Xenophobic Attacks currently happening in Mzansi.

Tiwa Savage took to Twitter and had this to say – I refuse to watch the barbaric butchering of my people in SA. This is SICK. For this reason, I will NOT be performing at the upcoming DSTV delicious Festival in Johannesburg on the 21st of September. My prayers are with all the victims and families affected by this.

The DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival is taking place at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit in Midrand on 21 and 22 September 2019. As expected they will be a big list of performers and Tiwa Savage refuses to be part of it.

They were responses to her tweet and even a retweet from Floyd Shivambu. The South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa came out and said – I condemn the violence that has been spreading around a number of our provinces in the strongest terms. I’m convening the ministers in the security cluster today to make sure that we keep a close eye on these acts of wanton violence and find ways of stopping them. We hope the violence and attacks will stop soon enough.
