Although Cassper Nyovest’s hit track ‘Tito Mboweni’ was received with mixed feelings when it was released last year, it has revived its popularity after President Cyril Ramaphosa replaced the former Finance Minister Nhlanhla Nene with newly appointed Finance Minister – Tito Mboweni.
Unlike Scoop Makhathini who thinks Hip Hop music has damaged people, many tweeps are of the view that hip-hop is influential and the appointment of Tito Mboweni as the Finance Minister was pushed by Cassper’s track.
