Gauteng: At 20H26 Friday night Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the N1 between the R59 and the R42 in Vanderbijlpark.
Reports from the scene indicate that a car and truck were involved in a collision.
Medics assessed the scene and found that the driver of the vehicle a 47-year-old male had sustained serious injuries and was treated on before being flown by the Netcare 1 Specialised Helicopter Air Ambulance to hospital.
Also in the car were two minor males aged three and seven who had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
The boys were treated on scene and once stabilised were transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.
