Interesting things to know about The River actress Larona Maogi

Larona Moagi (21) might be a TV newbie but her first big role as Itumeleng on The River is becoming quite popular.  Itumeleng is a feisty young rebel who refuses to be silenced or roll over when her family and community become casualties of greed. When her father is murdered by enigmatic businesswoman Lindiwe (played by Sindi Dlathu) Itumeleng relentlessly seeks justice.

As a law student it’s no surprise Larona loves how vocal her character is because she says she’s also very vocal and sometimes incorporates what she learns at school into her role.
