The 30-year-old received some spotlight at the age of 15 when she got her first television gig to host SABC2’s pre-teen entertainment show Bling in 2004, but that alone was not enough for the ambitious Nandi.

Nandi MadidaShe later tried her luck on different presenter search shows for LIVE and O- Access which she lost to childhood friend Minnie Dlamini and Dineo Moeketsi respectively.

Nandi MadidaHowever, that slight failure did not deter her hard work as she continued with other endeavours till she marked her rise to fame with the release of her first single Tonight which was followed by her debut album in 2012.
