Caster Semenya‘s hopes of taking part in her favourite event have been dashed, again.
Semenya’s latest appeal against World Athletics’ controversial rules has been dismissed.
The Swiss Federal Supreme Court found no reason to overturn the ruling made at the court of Arbitration for Sport.
That ruling had allowed World Athletics to limit the testosterone levels female athletes can have in certain events.
Those disciplines range from the 400 metres to the 1,500 metres events. As things stand, Semenya can’t defend her Olympic title next year.
