Sundowns appoint Manqoba Mngqithi and Rhulani Mokwena as joint head coaches

Mamelodi Sundowns have wasted no time in filling the void left by the departure of Pitso Mosimane.

The Brazilians have appointed Manqoba Mngqithi and Rhulani Mokwena as joint head coaches. However, the club statement did not specify the duration of the duo’s contracts.

Both Mngqithi and Mokwena were part of the technical team when Sundowns won the Caf Champions League in 2016 as well as the historic treble in the 2019/20 season.

Mngqithi has a wealth of experience as head coach after he led Golden Arrows to a historic MTN8 title in 2009.
