Soweto Mandlanzi is fearing for his life after, receiving death threats regarding the existence of a book that he wrote about Senzo Meyiwa.
Soweto Mandlanzi, the self-published author of Senzo’s book, Decoding 666-9: The inexplicable life of Senzo Meyiwa probably didn’t anticipate that his life would be under threat for penning the story of slain Orlando Pirates goalkeeper, Senzo Meyiwa.
In an interview with Ukhozi FM, Soweto explained that he has been receiving endless death threats personally and on social media. These antagonizing incidents have seriously left him fearing for his life.
In one of the many Facebook inbox messages, he revealed that it reads as follows:’Ngizokudubula ekhanda” (I’ll shoot you in the head).”
Speaking to SABC News, the self-published author further revealed the following:
“To be honest I don’t feel safe anymore, emanating from the fact that people had already had preconceived ideas. There have been a lot of comments like I have exposed the killers either directly or indirectly, that I had a specific agenda.”

“I have been consistently receiving threats. In 2018, a man I did not know just came up to me and said I must stop working on this Senzo Meyiwa project.”

Senzo’s late father, Sam Meyiwa gave his blessing to the formation of this book. Including the entire Meyiwa family.
