Job Purpose & Scope:

We are looking for a dynamic individual to fulfill the role of PR /Social Media Specialist, reporting to the Director. The position is responsible for various copy-related marketing activities across our Digital Channels, the implementation, and maintenance of our social media strategy, as part of the wider brand strategy as well as the co-ordination of all Public Relation activities

Copywriter Deliverables:

· Maintaining a consistent voice of Healing Earth in all marketing communication

· Writing catchy and effective copy for e-mailers, social media platforms, and digital advertising

· Assisting the creative team with conceptualizing ideas for social media and other digital campaigns

· Writing of selected product copy for the Healing Earth Website

· Content Writing

· Design and create presentations, brochures, and marketing collaterals with the marketing team

Social Media Deliverables

· Execute an integrated Social Media strategy and roll-out plan for multiple platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn

· Manage the production of content to populate the platforms as per the plan, by utilizing the creative resources including photography, design, and copywriting.

· Ensure the content is uploaded onto the various platforms on-plan and on-time

· Proactively generate content in a social manner at various events and in-store in an engaging and ad-hoc manner.

· Work on achieving targets set for likes, followers, engagements, and other Social Media measurement criteria.

· Manage the brands overall presence on Social Media, ensuring content is on-brand, and protecting the integrity of the brand where necessary.

· Constant evaluation of Social Media Trends worldwide and the implementation of these trends onto the Healing Earth Platforms.

· Constant monitoring of comments, messages, posts, and questions from the public and responding to them timeously and in a manner that resonates with our brand values.

· Responds to and resolves customer complaints made on the social channels in a friendly and professional manner, to educate and create positive connections with our customer community.

· Work closely with the Healing Earth Team to align goals, strategy, objectives, and outcomes.

· Regular reporting to the director on Social Media footprint, planning, and strategies

Public Relations Deliverables

· Briefing and debriefing PR Partners

· Supplying media with high res image requests

· Company presentations to large clients.

Experience:

· Minimum of 2 years of social media experience for company brands.

· Minimum 2 years of copywriting experience for company brands.

· Good all-round digital knowledge & PR Experience

· Experience and understanding of the retail environment.

· Passion for and experience in the beauty and wellness industry, trends, and premium retail markets
