Six injured in collision

KwaZulu-Natal: At 05H02 Sunday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the R61 Southbound between Port Shepstone and Shelly Beach on the KZN South Coast.

Reports from the scene indicate that a light motor vehicle and a light delivery vehicle were involved in a collision resulting in the bakkie rolling.

Six injured

Medics assessed the scene and found that six people had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.

The patients were treated on the scene and once stabilised were transported by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.

In other news – Woman killed in Bishop Lavis taxi crash

A collision between two minibus taxis left a 28-year-old woman dead and 26 others injured, on Saturday morning in Bishop Lavis. The collision occurred on the corner of Lavis Drive and 35th Avenue.
