At 19H22 Friday night, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the N2 Northbound near Ballito.
Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a light motor vehicle lost control resulting in the car coming to stop down an embankment.
Six people sustained minor injuries and were treated on scene and transported by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.

At 06H35 Friday morning Netcare 911, NSRI Station 5 and a team from the South African Air Force 15 Squadron in Durban responded to reports of an adult male sailor who has fallen ill while at sea.
