Sbahle Mpisane opens up about how her mom saved her from depression

Over the past year Sbahle Mpisane has been through the most and was even on the brink of falling into depression. Sbahle is still on the road to recovery after she was involved in a horror car crash that almost claimed her life. She was in hospital for several months and has clawed her way back to her old self.

Even though it has been an incredibly difficult process, she says that changing her attitude made a world of difference. In a lengthy post on Instagram, Sbahle revealed how she almost fell into depression but her mom saved her.

Depression almost drew into me but mum stepped into my shoes and redirected me.
She added that thinking and speaking positively shifted her life. It has uplifted my mood, opened doors within my spirit and had taken me on a journey of bliss. Happiness is a choice and by being busy declaring you are blessed it will change how you feel. Believe me! You will no longer wait for circumstances to change to be blessed or happy.”

Sbahle said that she’s even had the declaration, “I am blessed” tattooed on her hand to remind her to be positive all the time. I’ve been through a lot myself. From having a good reputation to almost believing I’m nothing anymore. The truth is, you are blessed. You have always been! You just choose to recognise it when ‘something happens
