Sbahle Mpisane celebrates her recovery milestone with fans

16 Months since her accident, Sbahle Mpisane has finally reached an incredible milestone in her recovery process – She wished so much that she could get onto a treadmill and train like she previously did before her accident – Sbahle took up the challenge, and under the watchful eye of a neighbour, she was able to walk the treadmill for five minutes
Fitness fundi, Sbahle Mpisane, has reached a major milestone in her recovery process. its been a difficult recovery journey for Sbahle who nearly lost her life in a horror crash just over a year ago.

She spent months in hospital and was told she would never walk again.
According to TshisaLIVE, paramedics used the Jaws of Life to remove Sbahle from the wreckage after she lost control of the vehicle during the early hours of 9 August last year.

Sbahle still uses the wheelchair occasionally because of her injuries she suffered from the accident but has been doing the most to work out in the gym. She’s been exercising several parts of her body but has really missing being on a treadmill. She shared her story on Instagram on Thursday. “I was at my gym alone today doing abs and biceps workouts.

I kept looking at the two people who were sprinting on the treadmill and I was sad that I may never be able to sprint again.” She decided to give it a try when everyone had left the gym. She called her neighbour to keep an eye on her and to call an ambulance if she fell during her attempt to work out on the treadmill.

“To make myself feel better, I waited for our gym to be empty, called my neighbour to come be on my view so she can call an ambulance if I fall.” But Sbahle pulled it off. “I was scared of course, but I prayed hard first, then believed I could do the 5 min I was aiming for. God is always behind me.” Sbahle later returned to social media to shoot and post a video of herself on the treadmill celebrating her accomplishment.

In other news – SABC confirms that it has cancelled Isidingo

The SABC has given local soap Isidingo the boot, after 21 years on-air. Rumours started swirling after Sunday World first reported that the show had been axed.

In July Isidingo celebrated its 21st birthday with special episodes marking the soapies milestone anniversary. On Friday the SABC confirmed reports saying the final episode will air on Thursday 12 March 2020. Read more
