President ED – Cde Mugabe was an icon of liberation

Former President of Zimbabwe Robert Mugabe has died and President Emmerson Mnangagwa had a few words to say. The Zimbabwe President took to Twitter where he said – “It is with the utmost sadness that I announce the passing on of Zimbabwe’s founding father and former President, Cde Robert Mugabe”

President Mnangagwa went on and said that Cde Mugabe was an icon of liberation. Despite the fact that Mugabe was forcefully removed as president, it doesn’t change the work he did to help Zimbabwe to gain Independence in 1980.
