Second death confirmed in Pretoria plane crash

A second person has died following Tuesday’s plane crash near Wonderboom airport in Pretoria.

The Civil Aviation Authority confirmed the person died in hospital on Wednesday morning.

Officials say the person had been seriously injured after the aircraft crashed into a factory.

Approximately seventeen others were hurt in the incident.

The plane was due to be flown to the Aviodrome air museum after reportedly being renovated at Wonderboom airport.

Early reports suggest the two pilots are from the Netherlands and Australia.

The plane was apparently doing a test flight with Wonderboom staff onboard when it crashed.
