KwaZulu-Natal: At 14H47 Monday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to a collision on Ohrtmann Road in Pietermaritzburg.
Reports indicate that a school bus and truck were involved in a head-on collision.
When medics arrived on the scene an assessment was done, and it was found that fifteen people had sustained moderate to serious injuries.
Sadly, two other children were found to have sustained fatal injuries and were declared deceased on the scene.
Circumstances leading up to the incident will be investigated by the relevant authorities who were on the scene.
