At 09H45 Monday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the corners of Doctor Chota Motala Road and Willowton Road in Willowton Industrial Pietermaritzburg.
Reports from the scene indicate that a car and a bakkie were involved in a collision.
The driver of the car, an adult male in his twenties sustained moderate injuries.
He was treated on scene and once stabilised was transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.
The driver of the bakkie escaped injury.
