Sunday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the N3 Eastern bypass in Edenvale.
Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a car, an adult male lost control resulting in a rollover.
The patient was assessed on the scene and found to have sustained serious injuries.
Once treated the patient was transported by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.
