Phelo Bala opens up about coming out of the closet

It has not been an easy journey for Musician, Phelo Bala who shared on social media that he has lost businesses because his s-e-xuality did not fit the “criteria”.

The singer who recently got engaged to TV personality Moshe Ndiki took to social media to share how hard this journey has been. Coming out was never easy. I’ve had to deal with people viewing me differently, backlash, homophobia, losing business because I now not fit the “criteria”.

He further says that in order to grow emotionally and mentally he had to stay true to himself and not live a lie.

“Life is hard enough as it for me to imprison myself and hide who I really am. The upside is that I now have peace. Peace with myself and I focus my energy on those that truly love me because there will always be someone that loves you for YOU” He wrote. But despite the ups and down, Phelo has done an amazing job of living his best life with partner Moshe.
