Ntsiki Mazwai remembers late Charlotte Maxeke as she is supposed to celebrate another year today. To pay respect to her, the star went to Charlotte’s gravesite to wish her a happy birthday and shared it on social media.
The poet is a serious feminist and thanked Charlotte for her role in dismantling patriarchy in Mzansi.
Charlotte Maxeke is a struggle icon and was the first black woman in South Africa to get a university degree. Ntsiki posted a photo of herself at Charlotte’s grave.
