Ntando Duma to Return to The Small Screens

SABC1 viewers are in for a treat with a new spectacular dance-reality show, Dance Yo Dumo, planned to broadcast on Sundays at 6 pm starting 6th March 2022. Dance Yo Dumo is a high-end, dance reality competition show, where 3 celebrity mentors battle to form the baddest dance crew. Contestants are presented with themes each week and are expected to put together tailored choreography to tell the ultimate Mzansi dance story.

Their tools are creativity and SA’s most ambitious wannabe dance stars. What stands in their way; is limited time and the judges. The show is hosted by award-winning personality, actress, and social media sensation Ntando Duma. The dance mentors called dance masters are dance creator and social media
influencer Chad Jones, Amapiano Awards Street Dance Winner Hope Ramafalo, and social media influencer/ internationally acclaimed dancer Justin De Nobrega.

Viewers can also look forward to seeing resident judges, Queen of dance and choreographer Bontle Modiselle, evolving musician and dancer Costa Titch, and appearances by guest judges weekly. The show celebrates South Africa’s colourful dance heritage by fusing iconic trends with the innovative spirit of the now generation. This is where viral dance trends across the decades are updated and used to show viewers our passion for the culture plus tell the story of how Mzansi loves to move.

The search for a new dance craze is on and seeks to crown the creators of a new viral dance trend for a quarter of a million Rand. Lasizwe recently brought Ntando to tears after she surprised her with a visit on set of the show. Taking to her Instgram account Ntando shared

She expressed her gratitude to Lasizwe “Thank you @lasizwe I appreciate you and this gesture so so much.and when I said “ Don’t love me” I meant love me more but don’t (if you know what I mean). I always say that ‘He who buys me flowers, knows my heart’ and Shem my people know me and Ngiyabonga .
