No injuries reported following underground fuel pipe burst

Gauteng: Late Tuesday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to a hazmat incident on the corners of Swartkoppies Road and Potgieter Street in Alberton.

Reports had indicated that an underground fuel pipe had burst.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported and the scene was secured by the fire and rescue services.

 

Circumstances leading up to the incident will be investigated by the relevant authorities.
