Gqom musician Njabulo Biggie Zondi will be laid to rest on Sunday

Gqom musician Njabulo Biggie Zondi, who succumbed from a chronic heart condition, will be laid to rest this Sunday in KwaMashu, Durban. Speaking to ZAlebs, his best friend Dladla Mshunqisi said, he is still devastated by his loss.

“He will be laid to rest on Sunday in Kwamashu, he said. The Covid-19 funeral regulations only allow 50 mourners at a funeral, and this heart-wrenching because many would have loved to bid farewell to him, but they have to adhere to the new regulations.

“The family is struggling because people also want to come to his funeral, but we cannot break the law,” he said.
