Nhlanhla Nciza is enjoying some much-needed me-time after a rough few months. The Mafikizolo lead singer and NN Vintage founder took to Instagram to share a picture of herself soaking up the sun during a beachside vacation. She dubbed her holiday a “MeCation”. Nhlanhla looked like a Vogue magazine cover star in a pink bikini and matching hat.
She wasn’t born herself, she found herself over a long and treacherous road and the more treacherous the road became the more of herself she found,” she captioned the image. The award-winning musician looked happy in another snap taken on her holiday. Although Nhlanhla called it a “MeCation”, several of her close girlfriends joined her on the trip. This comes less than two months after she revealed she is divorcing her husband of 15 years, TK Nciza. Since making the shocking announcement, it has been business as usual for the singer. She was spotted shooting a video for Rafiki’s new song, YOLE, which features Mafikizolo. She also went on holiday with her children during their mid-term break just one week after announcing the split.
Revealing the secret to her happiness post-divorce in an Instagram selfie, she wrote: “It’s all bout finding the calm in the chaos. Despite her recent heartbreak, the singer hasn’t given up on love.
When we leave this world, we give up all our possessions and our memories. Love is the only thing we take with us. It is all we carry from one life to the next. I choose LOVE,” she wrote.
