Fans want boring Mzansi Magic drama canceled

VIEWERS have called on Mzansi Magic to cancel Grootboom and Sons.

This drama series started a month ago and viewers are already bored.

Many of them complained that the show has the best actors, but the writers failed to do their jobs.

On Monday, 15 November viewers took turns on Facebook and Twitter and asked Mzansi Magic to remove the show.

Initially Mzansi Magic wrote: “Guys, please be aware when taking pictures that you may be giving other children’s whereabouts away. Smiling face with open mouth and cold sweat Poor Funeka.”

But viewers were not interested in the post. Instead, they took turns bashing the show.

Zodwa Ntombana said: “To be honest neh, this drama is extremely boring. We just love the actors.”

Vanessa Gosiame Moutjane commented: “I can’t believe I’m watching cartoons at 8pm every Monday. Hai Mzansi Magic, you are killing me.”

Baruti Porchy said: “Cancel this joke of a show with immediate effect.”

Maureen Kawengele said: “The storyline is all over. It doesn’t have that thing, worse we have to see coffins in a boring drama. Sorry I will pass.”

Anele Mzizi said: “Best actors but it’s boring shame.”

Grootboom And Sons premiered on 11 October.

“Already it started on a very bad note. Its first episode was a dismal failure as it only played for less than 15 minutes due to a technical glitch.”

This forced Mzansi Magic to play a string of adverts for the remaining minutes.

Mzansi Magic apologised for the glitch.

Bonginhlanhla Maseko wrote at the time: “We’ve had it with Grootboom and Sons. It must never be played again.”
