Defending 187 on the boards at one point it seemed MI were out of the contest but a fantastic penultimate over by Jasprit Bumrah (3/15) sealed the win for MI.
KL Rahul played a brilliant knock of 94 but he couldn’t save KXIP from a loss. KL has been the best batsman in IPL 2018 and has already surpassed the 600 run mark. Earlier, Mumbai Indians ended their innings at 186/8 in 20 overs. Kieron Pollard scored a fine 50 while Andrew Tye picked 4 wickets, his third fourth wicket haul in four matches.
