You remember when the mistress broke the internet last year with a viral video where she revealed how a top class of a woman she is and urged all men who would try her to be rich. It seems like she finally found the one for her!
Kwaito mega star Mshoza has tied the knot for the third time.
Sunday World can exclusively reveal that Mshoza got married to East Rand businessman Prince Dlamini at a Home Affairs office in Joburg in a low-key ceremony attended by close friends and relatives on February 13.
The married couple is now living together in Vonveld Park on the East Rand.
News that Mshoza got hitched to Dlamini was revealed by a friend of Mshoza’s mother-in-law Dudu Nkosi.
“She was so excited she told me that she was proud to be Mshoza’s mother-in-law,” said the friend.
The friend said Dlamini had asked that their marriage be kept hush-hush because not only is he a shrinking violet, he also does not want their union to become tabloid fodder.
“Also, he is in the logistics business, so he doesn’t want unnecessary attention that will defocus him from his business,” said the friend.
Nkosi confirmed that the songstress was her makoti.
“They got married in February this year at Home Affairs. We are planning to do two legs of traditional weddings for them, the first one in Soweto and the other in Thokoza at my in-laws,” she said.
Nkosi also said Mshoza and Dlamini dated for about a year before they got spliced.
“She is a humble, respectful, and down-to-earth person who has the blessings of the entire family. When my son introduced me to her, I realized that she is completely different from what the media has portrayed her.”
Mshoza first feigned surprise when contacted her, but eventually confirmed that she was, again, taken when we quizzed her further.
“I guess you have the information that you needed. I never expected my private life to be in the media so soon, so it will be premature for me to comment about this because there are certain things that still need to be done before I say anything,” said Mshoza.
“But is it really the right time for you guys to write about this, can’t you wait until after the lockdown?”
When contacted for comment, Dlamini promised to call Sunday World back as he had been caught off guard.
But he had not done so at the time of going to print.
Mshoza first got married to Mpumalanga businessman Jacob Mnisi in 2007 but their union crumbled in 2011 after accusations and counteraccusations of cheating by both parties.
The Kortes hitmaker then walked down the aisle with Durban businessman Thuthukani Mvula in 2017.
But that union collapsed after the singer claimed that Mvula had physically abused her.
