On Wednesday, the Mr. South Africa organization released their top 20 finalists and Mzansi is shocked!
The photos of the finalists were shared on social media and the response from the public was never expected.
The post that has now been deleted, has left South Africans unsatisfied and wondering what are the requirements to enter the competition!
Mr South Africa has defended the top 20, clapping back and saying “you do need to be sexy to be Mr SA”!
But still, that does not change how disappointed Mzansi is over the 2019 finalists.
The pageant says it looked for kind and good-hearted men, instead of focusing on their looks!
Mr SA has since been trending for all the wrong reasons, however, despite the criticism the pageant has been defending its contestants.
Hang on, we never said you need to be Sexy to be Mr SA. All we ask is dedication to a better SA and a good heart. If that’s not good enough for our country then we don’t know what else to give you.
