At 08H12 Friday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision near the Millennium Bridge on the M41 onramp.
Reports from the scene indicate that a motorcyclist swerved to avoid a car in the wrong lane when he lost control and hit pavement.
The patient an adult male sustained moderate injuries and was treated on scene by a Netcare 911 Emergency Care Practitioner.
Once treated and stabilised the patient was transported by Crisis Medical ambulance to hospital for further treatment.
Durban Metropolitan Police is in Attendance.
