KwaZulu-Natal: At 15H05 Sunday afternoon, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the corners of Avon and Kenneth Kaunda Avenue in Durban North.
Reports indicate that a motorcyclist lost control negotiating a bend, slamming the motorcyclist into the pavement curb.
When medics arrived on the scene, they found the patient, an adult male, in a critical condition. The man’s motorcycle was found against a boundary wall.
A full advanced life support resuscitation was initiated by paramedics from Netcare 911 and Emer-G-Med as the man’s condition rapidly deteriorated.
Once stabilised, the patient was rushed to a specialist medical facility for the care he required.
