Gauteng: At 16H49 Sunday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the R21 near the R23 interchange in Glen Marias on the East Rand. Reports indicate a motorcycle and motor vehicle were involved in a collision.
On arrival medics found two patients, an adult male driver of the motorcycle and an adult female passenger.
The adult male had sustained serious injuries and was treated on scene by an emergency care practitioner and once stabilised was airlifted to hospital.
The adult female had also sustained serious injuries and was treated on scene by another private ambulance service before being transported to the hospital for the care she needed.
