One of the entertainment industry’s most colourful and interesting couple, Mome and Mongezi Mahlangu are back to electrify our television screens with their much-anticipated reality show, #MoAndMome: Keeping It In The Family.
The 13-part reality show follows the lives of the Mahlangu family. Whilst some South African celebrities would scrape out the inclusion of their children in their reality shows, Mome and Mo have no qualms about showing the audience all the members of their family; including Mo’s son from a previous relationship.
Many of their respective followers were highly anticipating the return of their reality show. However, its first episode received quite a wave of mixed reactions.
Those who have been long standing fans of the couple were able to understand and enjoy the ‘unorthodox’ manner in which they go about expressing themselves, but another group of the audience (probably first timers) didn’t quite understand the dynamics of their marriage or rather, love languages.
Realty shows are so much pressure. Now you have to start up fights over a spoon in the sink because you need drama for the show #MoandMome

#MoandMome first of all if you’ve watched this show from season 1 even though it was long ago, you’d know they act like this, secondly nobody is compelling you to watch, not even the Bible bathong 🙄 pic.twitter.com/2c6sspflf6

People are watching #moandmome for the first time and it shows. They don’t know about previous seasons. These two have always been like this.
