The role of Senior Legal Executive reports directly to the Chief Legal Executive under the Managing Director. The SLE will be part of various management forums and play an active role in shaping and building the culture and strategy of Law For All’s legal department.
The SLE should possess firm legal expertise, but has to espouse leadership qualities to be part of a management team that manages 200+ legal staff.
It is a fast pace environment, with a young energetic culture in a flexible working environment.
The SLE should be knowledgable about current trends in the legal- and leadership worlds and be able to identify further ways to innovate. An understanding of technological trends would be advantageous.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Ability to speak, write and understand two official African languages of which English or any other language should be one OR both,
LLB degree and an admitted attorney or advocate,
5 years + Management experience in relevant industry with staff reporting to them,
Computer literate, excellent communication skills, and initiative,
MBA or similar qualification is advantageous,
Able to work without supervision,
Positive and motivated individual,
Also possess the attributes as set out under the heading skills, ability, and knowledge
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Self-motivated with excellent leadership qualities,
Good communication skills and a team player,
Ability to handle a high workload,
