Ladysmith Black Mambazo has suspended its US tour due to the coronavirus outbreak. The five-time Grammy Award-winning group is still left with ten performances.
“Due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus we have postponed the rest of our 2020 North American Tour for safety and health reasons. We greatly appreciate your support and apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused,” the group said in a statement.
The members will arrive back in South Africa next week. Group members will be required to go through the necessary screening processes before to reuniting with their families.
