Kylian Mbappe scores 4 goals in 13 minutes

PSG forward Eric Choupo-Moting has congratulated teammate Kylian Mbappe after scoring four goals within 13 minutes in their 5-0 thrashing of Lyon. The 19-year-old attacker broke a 45-year record in the French top-flight as Thomas Tuchel’s side ran riot over Lyon on Sunday

The France star became the youngest player to score 4 goals in a Ligue 1 game over the last 45 seasons at the age of 19 years and 9 months.

Mbappe found the back of the net in the 61st, 66th, 69th and 74th minutes after Neymar had opened the scoring in the Parc des Princes in the 38th minute.

The goals moved the France international to the summit of the Ligue 1’s goalscoring chart – joint top scorer with his Brazilian teammate Neymar – with eight goals.

And Choupo-Moting who was an unused substitute in the encounter has hailed the Best Young Player at the 2018 World Cup tournament for the feat.

“What an unbelievable night, brother. What a match! Congratulations my boy, Kylian Mbappe,” Choupo-Moting posted on Instagram.
