Julius Malema vs Jacob Zuma at Vaal University of Technology

Julius Malema vs Jacob Zuma at Vaal University of Technology. Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema attended the EFF Student Command Tshela Thupa rally to deliver his keynote address. Former ANC and Mzansi president Jacob Zuma was also meant to speak during the education lecture at Desmond Tutu Hall, but he was missing in action.

IT WAS meant to be a battlefield for Mzansi’s biggest political parties at Vaal University of Technology in the Vaal, south of Joburg, yesterday. Thousands of students then gathered at the main residence, where Malema spoke. VUT has been led by the EFF uncontested for years. Malema said he was not at the institution to campaign, but rather to emphasize points.

“We do not have to waste time convincing each other about things that waste time. Ours to do is to talk about what you already know,” Malema said. Students should make a wise choice when voting for parties, and vote for one that fought for the rights of the people.

“When the EFF said education will be free, leadership said we are imperialised to destabilise the country. “When we said you must go and walk in to register, they said Malema is irresponsible and will cause a stampede,” he said. “Today we registered thousands through walk-in.”

Malema called for in-sourcing of contracted workers at all institutions. “In-source all the workers in all institutions of the country. “Those workers are parents of children who cannot afford education.

“When we say in-source the workers, this means children will be able to get educated for free,” Malema said.
