Former Muvhango actress, Jo-Anne Reyneke is the new face on SABC1’s daily soapie, Generations: The Legacy.
She makes her return to the small screen as the smart, charming and ambitious Refilwe Zungu, Walter Nkaba’s (Nimrod Nkosi) stepdaughter. Her biological father, Daniel Zungu was a struggle stalwart who died 10 years ago, leaving her a fortune.
Her story follows that of a father who has over the years used his daughter for his own political agendas. Refilwe is comfortable around alpha males – she grew up around them. So, when Nkaba introduces her to one of his powerful associates, she knows exactly how to hold her own – leaving him weak at the knees.
The actress also recently landed a role in BET’s first new original drama, Isono (The Sin) co-produced with Clive Morris Productions.
Jo-Anne will feature along a star-studded cast including Nthati Moshesh, Rami Chuene, Bohang Moeko, Senzo Radebe and Anga Makubalo.
And while Isono has halted production and the airing of the first episode due to Covid-19, Jo-Anne will make her debut on Generations: The Legacy in August.
