Is the former Jam Alley presenter looking to make her way back into the spotlight? Earlier today, we were reminded of former Jam Alley presenter and Abashante band member, Nestum when actress Maduvha Madima posted a picture of them together and joked that she was the original Purity.
Madima tagged Nestum (whose real name is Zanele Nyakale) in the picture and our first thought was “where has she been?” and “why aren’t we following her?”
It turns out that Nestum only recently joined Instagram. In fact, she joined on the day she had an appearance on the Moja Love talk show, Show Me Love.

In the years since her Abashante days, she has had a few low-key TV and radio jobs, including a hosting gig on Mzansi Magic’s ‘Pls Call Me’ show alongside Jam Alley alum, Vinolia ‘V-Mash’ Mashego as well as her own radio show on Lesedi FM. She seems to have taken some time out to raise her two sons but perhaps she is considering a come-back?
