To our surprise, one of Mzansi’s most-loved television shows, Skeem Saam has lost almost a million in viewership numbers. This according to a report by Entertainment Commentator Phil Mphela.

#SkeemSaam hemorrhage viewers. The SABC1 youth soapie has lost a staggering 800k viewers between September and October according to the latest TAMs numbers. It pulled 6,72 million in September then dropped to 5,9 mil in October, for their top episodes.

However, it’s not unusual for shows to have a decline in viewership numbers. We’re projecting that the numbers will go up again this month as the current storyline has viewers hooked. If you’ve been following the drama lately, you’ll know that Nimza is embroiled in a sexual harassment case.

Buhle Maseko’s character has been harassing Pretty Seakamela’s by making sexually suggestive comments and sometimes harassing her physically.
Turf High’s sexual harassment committee has been handling the matter and viewers have been glued to their screens to see how the whole thing will turn out.

Spoiler Alert! In last night’s episode, Pretty submitted her evidence report proving that Nimrod Kunutu did indeed harass her sexually. Nimza then snuck into Professor John Muputla’s office to steal the files. However, he wasn’t aware that the University has cameras everywhere.
