Is MaMkhize leaving Real Kings for TTM FC?

Former Royal Eagles chairlady Shauwn Mkhize is believed to be on her way out of GladAfrica Championship club Real Kings.

The South African businesswoman and reality TV star is rumoured to be on her way to link up with her friend Lawrence Mulaudzi at Tshakhuma Tsha Madzhivhandila.

Vhadau Vha Damani will be campaigning in the Premiership next season after Mulaudzi bought Bidvest Wits’ status, provided the PSL approves the sale.

“What I know is they’ve been always business partners,” Kings CEO Philani Majola says.

“So I don’t think it would be strange if there’s a working relationship of some sort between them. I don’t see a problem there or a conflict of interest.

“Yes, there is a possibility of Shauwn not continuing being our sponsor, but that’s not final. It’s something that we are still going to talk about maybe by the end of this month.

“I’ve been always saying one thing, that she’s a sponsor. She has never owned the team. I would be lying if I say [she is leaving Kings]… there’s a possibility.

“But we are still negotiating. Kings’ ownership has never changed. Bongani Ngidi is the chairman, CEO it’s me Majola. That has never changed.”

Kings official Richard Makhoba adds: “I’m not sure [if she’s leaving]. Where do you get this story? Send me an email with your questions, I will forward them to her.”

There has been no response from Kings or Mkhize since Thursday last week.
