Bosasa execs to appear in court for fraud

Former Bosasa executives and correctional services officials will appear in the Pretoria Commercial Crimes Court on Monday.

Angelo Agrizzi, Andries van Tonder, Linda Mti and Patrick Gillingham face fraud and corruption charges.

The case relates to tender irregularities and corruption between Bosasa and the Department of Correctional Services.

It’s alleged that officials gave and accepted bribes in the form of cash.

The State Capture Inquiry has heard how officials also received financial assistance in acquiring properties, cars and funds for overseas travels. All four men are currently out on R20,000 bail.
