S.A Idols judge and singer, Unathi Nkayi found herself in hot water last night after being accused of “stealing Micayla’s spotlight. After Micayla’s performance, fellow judge Somizi was complimenting her on her performance saying that it was her best performance since the beginning of the season.
Unathi then cut him off and announced that it was, host Proverb’s grandma’s 90th birthday. The attention was then moved from Micayla to Proverb’s grandmother who was in the audience and this did not sit well with many viewers who were watching the show live at home.
Twitter users weren’t happy about this and some ordered that Unathi apologise to Micayla.
