Huawei South Africa has partnered with Discovery Vitality to offer members discounts on its range of health devices.
The company said these offerings will include a discount of 25%-75% on Huawei wearable devices which have a heart rate monitor and are purchased from Sportsmans Warehouse or Total Sports.
This promotion may attract more Vitality customers to the Huawei wearable range, which includes the Watch GT.
Huawei also said it has made a number of changes to its Health app, which now offers real-time heart rate, stress, sleep quality, and oxygen intake monitoring.
The company plans to launch a number of new wearable devices in the coming months and is in discussions with a host of other South African medical aid and health partners.
