Health Minister, Zweli Mkhize and a group of scientists are expected to present new scientific developments on COVID-19.
South Africa currently has 892,813 positive COVID-19 cases. The death toll now stands at over 24,011.
Earlier this month Mkhize announced that the country had entered the second wave of COVID-19 infections.
